Zacchaeus in the Sycamore tree

Well after listening to this awesome song, I was inspired to do a little picture illustration thing. Took me quite a while to do, just because I was always tweaking it to get it how I wanted it. ;)

It was inspired by the song from Flame’s newest album, Our World: Redeemed. Originally I didn’t like the song as the distortion kinda reminded me of some secular rap songs that I’ve heard and somewhat despise. ;) However, after letting the lyrics soak in a little longer it really got to me…and it’s so relevant to my Christian struggle–the battle is in myself, between having more me in my life, or more God. To me it seems like everything hinges on these two opposites, I only hope that I will be able to continue to grow away from self and live more for Him each day.

Hello and welcome to my new blog.  I really haven’t done anything pertaining to the blog scene at all for such a long time.  A lot of it is due to the fact that Harding blocks my previous blog (for dating/social!?) .  I plan on updating this a lot more often than I updated my other blog, and I plan on making the subjects on stuff less original than my other blog posts.  Being less original is not my aim, but I plan on linking to all kinds of different things that I see, approve, and find interesting on the web.  However, I might just come up with something super cool one of these days…don’t worry.  ;-)

At the moment I will leave this theme as the boring thing that wordpress came with, but eventually I will change it up and hopefully have it semi-integrated with, instead of just the entirely separate entity that is is now.
