Once upon a time in the caves of Searcy, an idea was originated. This idea was so good that it could be matched by no one. It was an idea encompassing a level of collaboration that this state has never seen before, an idea so original that its like has never been made–an idea to…make an anchorman spoof involving a bunch of beaux.
Crazy, I know, but it happened, and videos have been kept secret long enough, and now they are being unveiled to all the world, along with some pictures of the event. :P
Now, here’s the video:
There you have it. I’m not a very good actor (to say it lightly) and my voice work needs work. It’s okay though, I still think it turned out great. The middle section of the video was passed around to the different beaux to do what they wished to it, so it was a neat collaboration project thing that involved a lot of cool guys. :)
Here are some of the other videos:
Zeta Rho Video – Mark Baur edited this, and did a stellar job with taking the idea and running with it. Good stuff. =)
DGR “most active beaux on campus” beaux for playing the video with no story added to the beginning or the end (basically 1:58 to 6:13), way to go. ;)
JGJ beax for just using Delta Nu’s video…haha.
KJK for not even showing the video at all. Hmmm. By the way, why am I the only one that thinks “‘Parking lot’? More like ‘parking less.’” is hilarious?
[non sarcastic] Brett Ellis for heading this up and doing a super editing / filming job.
If you have any more stories or anything of what was was shown at the different clubs’ functions/formals, shoot me a comment so that I can add to this and make fun of more people. ;)

Here I am again, back at school. This time, I’m less motivated than ever. I have a couple websites that I need to make, an art project I need to work on, some homework that’s due in an hour, but right now it’s just so hard for me to do school work. College is great. School, not so much.
Spring break was awesome. I really love our group. It was fairly diverse, and I got to grow closer to some people that I didn’t know very well before. It’s kinda neat how being with a small group of people for a week makes them feel a bit like family. It still is good to be back though, I just need to get back on track. :)
I’ll have a couple posts about my spring break, but for now–just some more pictures (and a couple videos).
Our group after a clean-up project.
Our great group leaders. :)
The awkward couple...haha.
Jumping
I was experimenting with video a bit the trip. Focusing is kinda weird on a DSLR, and the shallow depth of field can work for you or against you. I don’t really mind most of the previous video being out of focus. I just call it art. :P Also, my brother is pretty crazy. I’ve been realizing that more and more lately.

Well obviously the chicken would win, but we won’t even go there. Anyway–some story. This one obscure camera company, Nikon, decided to head up a short-film contest about your life in a day. While this was obviously just a ploy to get some attention to their newer cameras ability to shoot in high definition (wow), and I didn’t really care about winning $100,000 for making the best video, since, to be honest, I’m not good, BUT the winner’s video is gold. Definitely one of my favorite short-films of all time, OF ALL TIME.

I was looking through the (incorrectly named) Video Project category of this blog, and noticed that I didn’t have many of the Pi Theta Phi beaux entertainment videos up. So for the sake of completeness, here are the other videos that I made and/or filmed and/or was at least a part of.
The most recent beaux entertainment video. I like the editing a lot, so mad props to Brett, who’s just above the play button in the video preview. :P

Firstly, you absolutely must, no questions asked (I won’t answer them!), watch this video.
