…not really, but this will be the last post of the pictures from the snow day on Monday that I’m gunna post. Life goes on–ya know?
Edit: added the pictures to the gallery.
Just a little housekeeping note–I’m going to post the rest of the pictures on a blog post that you can only see if you are registered (and logged in). The reason I’m doing this is because I don’t want to put 100 pictures into one post unless you really want to see them (it looks a bit weird–like the bottom of this post, but 10 times as long). I’m kinda using this blog as a showcase of some of my favorite photos, and if I include too many pictures, that kinda takes away some of the effect.
I don’t know how much sense that makes, and I might decide to do it a different way–such as upload pictures to the gallery or something. I’ll also put some on facebook soon.
Anyways…some pictures.

Not the most successful jumping picture, but I like it.

Just a few more photos.

Having a jolly ol' time.
I contemplated not posting this picture, and just leaving it for dead on the streets of my hard drive (lame metaphor of the day), but I somehow like it. I’m not really one to take pictures of plants, especially plants without flowers or any attractive traits, but the simplicity of this is kinda neat. In my opinion, that is.

yep.

Today is another snow day here at school. I’ve never experienced as much as a delay in my last 2 years of college, but yesterday was a 2 hour delay, and last week we had that other snow day. Good stuff.
We got about 4-5 inches, and this is the first experience of real snow for many people down here. It’s pretty great to see how people effect to snow. Everyone seems so jolly, and the school spirit that you don’t always see so plainly shines like never before. Nobody is saying anything about clubs or being lame dramatic, but everyone is just enjoying life and one another.
I managed to take upwards of 750 pictures yesterday. It was a great day minus getting hit by a well packed ice/snowball to the nose in between taking pictures. Blood everywhere! Oh well. Sometimes you just gotta take one for the team.
Here are two of the pictures. I’ll probably put some more on here and facebook sometime in the future. =) Have a great day everyone!

Lots of snowmen being made. This was one of the more attractives ones. ;P

Yesterday Wads and I took a stroll around campus and then around town. I traded my coat for his hat and gloves, for the sake of style. Taking walks and relaxing a bit is always a good thing, but when there’s snow out, it adds an even cooler feel to it. Rest of the story in pictures.

Wads and me about to venture out on our venture.

The truth is that I haven’t been very active in taking pictures. I need to get on that. Yesterday I wanted to try out a lighting set up the other day with light coming from the left and the right, then a shadow running down the middle of the face–and here is my favorite example of my first attempt.

The only thing that didn’t go as planned is that there is so much light spill around the room, but I still like the picture.
In other news, this past Friday was the first snow day of my college career, and also the first time that I’ve seen real snow here. Pretty awesome day–I had a lot to do, was going to wake up early to finish my homework before class, but then when I saw that school was cancelled, I proceeded to do absolutely no schoolwork the entire weekend.
Sadly I didn’t really take any great pictures of stuff we did on Friday, but it was definitely one of the greatest days of the year, and these pictures are for documentation purposes. =)

Descriptions: driving around (drifting), chilling / eating, sledding, out my window in the morning, car-assisted sledding, singing/talking--baha.
