Caitlin and Ryan are now married! I’ve known these two for what seems like forever and it’s crazy to see them all gown up and married. ;) I’d like to say that I played a small part in getting them together, but realistically they probably wouldn’t have been able to stay apart either way. Caitlin and Ryan are so in love with God and so in love with each other. It’s truly great to be a part of the lives of such a loving and genuine couple.

On one hand it’s just a drill and none of it was real, but some of it was pretty realistic. It kinda made me feel sheltered for not seeing much of the world’s pain.

The other night my brain got this great idea of taking a camera with me every day for a week.  So far I haven’t even lasted a full day, but it’s something that I wanna at least try to do the rest of this week.  I really like people pictures.  I feel like you can tell a lot about someone by their face.  Face value.  ;)

Some other things:

• The Bison, Harding’s newspaper, has gone purely XY chromosone.  I used to have have three employees.  Now, all the yearbook photographers are girls, and Caleb Rummel and me are sole owners of the Bison’s manliest department: the Bison photographic department.
• Things are crazy busy!  These past few years, my schedule hasn’t been too crazy, but now it seems like there’s always stuff going on, and I have to pick what to go to and what to skip.
• I just found this song via pandora. It’s good. :) Perpetuum Mobile.

As with any concert at Harding: the crowd is always pretty lame. About 75% of the people sit down, then the rest that are standing up just clap (sometimes), sing along (although rare), and yell.

Thankfully there’s more to life than being energetic concert attendees.

In other news, there’s this cool thing in concert photography where you aren’t supposed to take pictures past their 3rd song. It’s generally only with larger bands, but it’s cool because at the beginning of the concert is when everyone is all pumped up, the bands play their best songs, and the energy is crazy. By the end of the concert, the everyone gets bored, a few of the band members fall asleep, and the most of the crowd has gone back to their room to do homework.

It’s just something I need to get used to. ;) Great job by the Metters and Dr. Dog! Fun times.

What what! :-) So this past Monday was super exciting for me. I’m really excited about all the opportunities that being beau’d will bring. I’m just hoping that I’ll be able to spread Christ’s love through this and encourage these awesome girls.

Since I’m having trouble explaining this situation to (fictional audience?) people not in Harding and people in Harding, I’m just going to stop here. :-P
