Caitlin + Ryan Married!

Caitlin and Ryan are now married! I’ve known these two for what seems like forever and it’s crazy to see them all gown up and married. ;) I’d like to say that I played a small part in getting them together, but realistically they probably wouldn’t have been able to stay apart either way. Caitlin and Ryan are so in love with God and so in love with each other. It’s truly great to be a part of the lives of such a loving and genuine couple.

Disaster Relief Drill

There’s a drill that goes on yearly at Harding where a real life tragedy is simulated. Departments from all over campus get involved: nursing, drama, PR, video broadcasting, and of course campuses favorite Bison newspaper. This year was simulated earthquake (very localized) that took place on one side of the library. Quite intense.

On one hand it’s just a drill and none of it was real, but some of it was pretty realistic. It kinda made me feel sheltered for not seeing much of the world’s pain.

Mr. A-Z concert

Not exactly breaking news, but Jason Mraz came to Harding a few weeks ago. It was one of the biggest and most expensive show for Harding to host, so it was a little exciting being able to cover the event. I’m not the biggest Jason Mraz fan, but the concert was top notch for sure. Like him or not, Jason Mraz is an incredibly talented singer.

Day of Service Attack; Relay

Good ol’ crazy times. This past Saturday was service project day for Harding’s Celebrate: Kingdom. We did some hopping around, and this is what I saw.

Also, my sister visited for a few days on her way back from California. It was awesome hanging out with her for a few days. She’s great. :)
