It’s crazy, but the 3rd annual Memorial Day campout “Blast” at my house was one whole week ago! It was a blast. It happened to be one of the smaller campouts, since lots of people bailed, but it was still awesome. A smaller group just makes it more personal.
Well, that may or may not have been the last one. I think I’ll pass the whole shabang on to my brother. I don’t remember him organizing things, but we’ll see what happens soon enough.
I just don’t know what I’ll be doing next summer. I’ll be finished with college by then (crazy!), so I guess by that time I’ll officially be an adult. I have no idea where I’ll be one year from now, but it will probably be great.
On to the pictures…

Kicking it back over the fire.

Roman candle fun. hah.

Not feeling to lyrically inspired right now (aka don’t feel like writing), so I’ll just leave you with a couple teaser pictures from the “Memorial Day Campout Blast 3″ at my house and a video that I found. I took very few pictures during the campout except for a night that we walked out to the field by our woods and did random pictures and shot fireworks. Harken:

Doing some light painting. My favorite of the bunch.

My brother fire burning on the dance floor.

Here are some more of the pictures. It was a super great trip–a good time to enjoy nature and see the glory of God, spend time with some people that I don’t spend enough time with, and just to enjoy being away from civilization.
The nights and being super cold wasn’t my favorite, but everything else made up for it.

A long exposure of the cave that we stayed in, with a little waterfall coming over the edge.

Just got back from a 2-day camping trip to Buffalo River in the Ozarks. Arkansas in general is pretty flat, but there are some nice exceptions.

God is so amazing.
