Heading to the airport in the morning. I’m pretty excited. I’ve never been further west than Texas. Heading to NoCal to visit the long lost nomads aka sisters. I’m just a wee bit excited.
Sorry about neglecting the blog. Not very sorry though. ;) Tootles,

It’s no secret that a lot of pictures are taken in a week of camp. I took 5671 pictures, a little less than expected. Here are my Top 20 favorites:

Pennsylvania Christian Camp Senior Week 2010 has come and gone. It went by super fast. I had a super time and it was amazing to see God working in so many lives. :)
Extra Pictures on jonyoder.com! These are the pictures that I rated/tagged to maybe put in the slideshow–but they never made it.
Thanks for making it a super week. Also, thanks Justin Harris for letting me use your camera all week. Carrying around a second camera made me look a lot cooler. ;-)
This summer has been pretty crazy. I have my random times of having free time (ie: this week), but I’m always going from one thing to another. That’s how I like it. Keeps me on my toes.
In the morning I’m heading out to Blue Knob state park for PCC! It’s always a great time being out in the wilderness for a week. I’ve been doing the slideshow there for a few years now, and hopefully this year’s slideshow will be the best yet. :) Throughout the week, I’ll take approximately 6,000 pictures and come up with a 20 minute show of a few hundred pictures and maybe a few videos. But enough of that–the slideshow will be on here soon enough. Now, I need to begin packing.
In other news, I got a car! It’s my first one–a Chevy Malibu. Hopefully it lasts me years and years. :)

I’ve had the opportunity to 2nd shoot at a couple weddings this summer. It has been a good chance for me to take all my learning and speculation and test it in the real world. Learning things online from other photographers is great, but nothing beats real world experience. :) It was also neat being a 2nd shooter/assistant, as I didn’t have to worry about getting the “essential” shots, but had more room to experiment.
